Meet Janine

Janine, CCR

Janine was born in Calgary, Alberta, and has carried a love of travel with her throughout her life, exploring countries abroad and every corner of North America. She now spends half her time in Canada and half in the United States, staying closely connected with family on both sides of the border.

After 15 years in plumbing sales, Janine followed her passion for animals and shifted into dog rescue work, helping people understand training, behavior, and compassionate care. For the past three years, she has also served as a death doula, supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most meaningful transitions.

Her path led her from the intensity of emergency work to a more fulfilling career in veterinary medicine, where she continues to advocate for animals and the people who love them. Janine shares her life with her two beloved dogs, Ricky and Bobby. Above all, truth, family and anything with fur remain the core values that guide her every day
